We previously worked for one of the largest indoor golf simulator companies in the industry. The owners were great in providing bonuses and gatherings, they would come and interact with their employees and it really felt like a family. There was a genuine commitment to both employees and clients. When they were given an incredible offer to sell, they could not refuse. Their years of hard work had paid off. However, after many successful years of close integration, corporate took over and our company that felt like a family unfortunately changed.

Following the acquisition, priorities shifted. Profits began to outweigh quality and craftsmanship. Projects were rushed, material standards declined, pricing increased, and installation quality suffered. After eight years designing and installing simulators, it became increasingly difficult to justify the growing disconnect between cost, value, and client experience.

My cofounder, who served as Head of Prototype Design, was responsible for innovations that significantly advanced the company’s success. Despite this, his contributions went largely unrecognized. Fortunately, he didn’t give up his best ideas. As we discussed what was possible, it became clear that we could deliver a superior product—at a fraction of the cost—without compromising quality.

That realization led us to form our own company, OMNI-SIM.

Today, we work with the same trusted vendors, eliminate unnecessary markups, and operate with a lean structure that allows us to offer better value without sacrificing craftsmanship. Most importantly, we take pride in doing the job right. If something isn’t perfect, we fix it—no shortcuts, no excuses.
